Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Management Trainee to join our Operations Management Trainee Program. This entry-level role provides a 16-week intensive training track designed to prepare you for a future leadership position in operations.

Under a dedicated mentor, you will learn transportation fundamentals, cross-dock efficiency, leadership communication, and relationship-building while rotating through support and service centers. Relocation may be required after program completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation or Logistics, or at least two years of related work experience.
• Acceptable driving history.
• Willingness to relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn the basic principles of the transportation industry and cross-dock operations.
• Support leadership communication and relationship-building during training.
• Accompany Account Manager during customer sales calls.
• Observe drivers on local routes to understand the freight delivery process.
