Southeastern Freight Lines is hiring a Management Trainee in Charlotte, NC. This entry-level program features a 16-week intensive training track to prepare you for your first leadership role in operations, under a mentor, covering transportation basics, cross-dock operations, and leadership communication.

During the program you will accompany an Account Manager on sales calls and ride with drivers to understand freight delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Logistics or two years related work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate as required and maintain a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 16-week Operations Management Trainee Program to learn the basics of the transportation industry.
• Work under a mentor to develop leadership and cross-dock operation skills.
• Interface with Support Center and Service Center teams on training tasks.
• Accompany an Account Manager during customer sales calls and ride with drivers to understand freight delivery.
