WebstaurantStore is seeking an Operations Leadership Trainee to learn all facets of our distribution center and join a salaried leadership pathway. The role rotates across shifts to gain full departmental understanding and eventual placement into a permanent leadership position.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and leadership development. Initial training focuses on day shift with expectations to work across shifts and departments, building a broad operational foundation for future

Qualifications

• 2 years of management experience preferred but not required.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a distribution environment preferred.
• MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of day-to-day decisions of the assigned department/shift regarding performance, process and leadership.
• Learn and understand the process of each department/shift, make connections as to how each department interacts with each other, and identify areas of improvement.
• Actively engage in leadership discussions and apply leadership principles to daily work.
• Monitor metrics for assigned departments; resolve operating issues including corrective actions.
• Interact with employees to promote safety and ensure rules are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.
