Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager Intern for a ten-week summer program at one of its Texas facilities. You will coach a team of 50-100 associates, lead daily huddles, and drive an intern project while operating in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, and collaboration with site leadership. Start date is Summer 2027; relocation and housing support may be provided where eligible.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with expected completion between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Interested in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and an intern project to improve processes.
• Lead from the floor, adapt staffing to volume, and remove roadblocks.
