Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection in Yellowstone National Park seeks an seasoned Assistant Director of Operations to guide strategic leadership across Yellowstone locations. You will manage regional teams, drive guest satisfaction, and partner with National Park Service to uphold standards in a fast-paced park setting.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, cost control, and continuous improvement to ensure Legendary Hospitality while aligning with financial goals.

Qualifications

• Must-have leadership and team-building capability.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead Regional Managers of Operations and operations teams to meet financial and guest service goals.
• Recruit, train, support and motivate Operations staff; collaborate with Talent Team on hiring.
• Develop and lead spring training for field operations managers with regional managers.
• Coordinate with department directors and regional managers on seasonal management staffing.
• Improve efficiency of processes to maximize revenue and control costs while maintaining guest service standards.
• Be on-call for evening/night coverage and support in housing-related issues as needed.
