AmeriLife in Tampa seeks a detail-oriented, strategic Operations Director who will oversee departmental planning and drive progress across teams.

You will innovate to boost productivity, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.

The role collaborates with the President to set goals, supervise staff, and optimize profitability while upholding high standards.

Minimum BS/BA in Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience as department director or similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of performance and operations management.
Familiarity with regulations and quality standards.
Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office and relational databases and software.
Exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
Competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator.

Liaise with President to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
Take lead on all projects for the company and follow up with progress made
Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress
Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback
Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability with President
Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors (leads, carriers, etc.)
