Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily branch operations in Florida. You will supervise staff, ensure safe practices, and drive productivity while delivering superior customer service and sales support.

Work with the Branch Manager to meet financial goals, monitor performance metrics, and implement process improvements for Rental Flow and profitability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years supervision and leadership experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist Branch Manager in policy compliance.
• Drive metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Support sales and customer service to ensure world-class service.
• Maximize efficiency by training staff and controlling costs.
• May handle day-to-day operational activities like opening/closing and cash handling.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel; promote safety and accountability.
