Job summary

Alta Mesa Resources is seeking an Operations Manager to support field operations with a strategic mindset, ensuring safety, quality, and financial health across the operation.

The role involves leading safety meetings, overseeing risk assessments, maintaining governance, and driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and environment practices, while optimizing resources and EBITDA. Strong collaboration with sales and field teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience in operations.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Product Line and technical job planning requirements.
• Good understanding of Engineering, Service Quality and Sales.
• Ability to work in high pressure situations, balancing both client and business expectations.
• Knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, HS&E and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety meetings with employees on a regular basis.
• Facilitate safety meetings and oversee Job Hazard Analysis updates.
• Investigate incidents and provide corrective actions.
• Maintain governance and compliance with Security, Compliance & HSE policies.
• Lead execution of operational activities to optimize resources and EBITDA.
• Ensure delivery of quality service to customers and alignment with pricing in bids.
• Provide technical support to field staff and customers before, during, and after job.
• Drive change initiatives to enhance business performance.
