Job summary

Apache Industrial is seeking an Area Operations Manager to plan and oversee operations in the designated area with a strong focus on safety, ethics, quality, and people leadership. You will manage labor, productivity, and safety, while representing the company in regulatory matters and client interfaces.

The role requires the ability to forecast financials, lead process improvements, and collaborate across divisions to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of leadership experience in industrial construction/maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with senior leadership to develop and meet company goals while providing expertise on area operations.
• Implements procedures to improve efficiency and communicates strategic direction within the area.
• Forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, and utilization across the area.
• Supports contract pricing negotiations and terms.
• Reviews status reports and addresses issues as appropriate.
• Drives safety performance on sites through visible leadership.
• Collaborates with other areas to achieve company objectives.
• Ensures design standards and quality management in craft processes.
• Develops work scopes and labor estimates with Project Management.
• Interacts with clients, construction personnel, subconsultants, and others as needed.
• Represents Apache professionally and upholds company policies.
• Identifies new processes/technologies to improve operations.
• Sets and communicates budget, staffing, and facility decisions for the area.
