Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily terminal operations, supervise staff, and manage budgets. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient service to customers, while coordinating with the District Operations Manager.

The role requires 5–7 years in operations, a HS diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), and ERP experience (SAP). Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years experience in operations.
• Experience with governmental requirements related to chemical industry (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT) preferred.
• Experience with chemical distribution facility operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of terminals and customer interactions with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Supervise Yard Specialists and Operations Coordinators and manage the department budget.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and training.
• Lead budgeting, operating plans, and branch reviews; drive process improvements.
