Job summary

Univar Solutions in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day branch performance, supervise employees and the facility, and drive operational activities in a large site. You will ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance, support sales efforts within regulations, lead the branch emergency response, and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, 3–5 years of operations experience, SAP or ERP familiarity, and strong MS

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of operations experience in a distribution/chemical facility setting.
• Knowledge of chemical distribution facility operation and SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Facilitating compliance to health, safety and environmental policies, including trainings, documentation, and record keeping.
• Supporting sales efforts while maintaining regulatory compliance, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Leading the branch's emergency response team and safety audits with the Branch Operations Manager.
• Overseeing daily pre-shift meetings and communicating expectations to staff.
• Cultivating ownership of branch operations and a positive work environment.
• Participating in inspections by external agencies (DOT, EPA, FDA, DHS).
• Direct supervision for Material Handlers.
