Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality service and maximize branch productivity. You will partner with the Branch Manager to ensure safety, world-class customer service, and adherence to standard processes across operations.

You will supervise Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and staff, coach teams, and drive initiatives that align with financial objectives while maintaining a strong safety culture and compliant operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years in sales and operations
Experience in the construction rental equipment industry or related field preferred
Strong motivational and leadership skills

Responsibilities

Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives
Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies
Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives
Responsible for performance management of direct staff
Motivate, coach and train personnel
Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership and communication
Other duties assigned as needed
