Job summary

Komline is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Sparta, NJ facility, overseeing production, quality, inventory, shipping, and maintenance. You will drive safety culture, on-time delivery, and cost control while building a capable, engaged team and partnering with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years supervising teams, experience with job-shop production, and strong knowledge of OSHA standards and Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing or fabrication experience, including 3+ years supervising production teams.
• Hands-on experience with custom, made-to-order, or job-shop production.
• Experience with OSHA requirements and improving safety performance.
• Experience with an ERP system (Dynamics 365 preferred) and strong Excel skills.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications and translate them into fabrication requirements.

Responsibilities

• Directs all daily operations of the Sparta facility, including production, quality, inventory, shipping, receiving, and facility maintenance.
• Promotes a strong safety culture and ensures OSHA compliance; leads safety meetings and investigations.
• Plans and schedules production to meet customer delivery dates and lead times.
• Reviews orders, specifications, and drawings to ensure fabrication requirements are accurate before production.
• Monitors KPIs and develops plans to improve on-time delivery, productivity, and quality.
