CEVA Logistics seeks an Operations Manager for the Melrose Park, IL site to direct inbound and outbound operations, ensuring high service levels, profitability, and cost efficiency. The role drives staffing plans, safety programs, and compliance across the site, reporting to leadership and coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, five years related experience; three years supervisory experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Credentials: Valid driver's license; Forklift certification; other certifications may be required.
• Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry software.
• Characteristics: Ability to allocate work, manage department finances, interpret business materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage inbound/outbound site operations to meet customer standards and profitability.
• Plan and monitor daily staffing to support demands and objectives.
• Communicate directives, ensure safety, move freight safely with proper equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and oversee equipment condition.
• Oversee administrative functions and ensure timely, compliant paperwork.
• Coach and mentor direct reports and provide development opportunities.
