Job summary

Parksite in Carlstadt, NJ is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring 98% OTIF performance and strong cost control. You will partner with the Location GM to drive profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in operations leadership, experience with ERP/WMS, and a strong Lean/Six Sigma mindset. You will oversee staff, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, supply chain, operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in operations, logistics, or distribution leadership.
• Experience supervising teams in fast-paced distribution or warehouse environments.
• Fleet management experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and safety regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and operational reporting tools.
• Exposure to LEAN, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily warehouse and distribution center operations, including receiving, picking, staging, loading, inventory control, and delivery execution.
• Ensure achievement of 98% OTIF delivery performance and location service standards.
• Drive process discipline and adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure accurate inventory levels, minimize shrinkage, and maintain strong cycle count controls.
• Strategically oversee fleet and dedicated delivery operations.
• Partner with the Location General Manager to support profitability and operational efficiency.
• Assist in developing and managing operating budgets.
• Monitor and control operating expenses, including labor, fleet, and facility costs.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and provide cost justification and ROI analysis.
• Drive labor productivity and optimize space utilization.
• Supervise, coach, and develop operations staff (direct and indirect reports).
• Ensure proper staffing levels to meet operational and service demands.
• Lead performance management, hiring, training, and development initiatives.
• Promote engagement, accountability, and a culture aligned with company leadership behaviors.
• Serve as a change agent during organizational or process transformation.
