Actalent is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee and optimize all aspects of its operational processes in a fully onsite Minneapolis setting. You will collaborate with production, supply chain, logistics, and quality teams to drive efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement across value streams.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in operations management, strong leadership, and expertise in lean, Six Sigma, and KPI-driven optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations management.
• Strong knowledge of operations management principles and Six Sigma.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience building relationships with suppliers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of operations, including production, supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across the organization.
• Take full ownership of one or more Value Streams.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, goals, and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices to ensure consistency and quality throughout all operations.
• Monitor KPIs and metrics to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and inspire a team of operations professionals, providing clear direction, coaching, and development opportunities to foster a high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and quality requirements in all operational processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, to manage relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive operational excellence throughout the supply chain.
• Implement effective inventory management practices to optimize inventory levels, minimize obsolescence, and ensure product availability.
