Job summary

MAT Holdings, Inc. in Springfield, MN is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing team on-site. You will manage supervisors, drive production excellence, uphold safety, quality, and cost standards, and implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.

The role requires collaboration with sales and shipping to meet market demands and production schedules, with a proven track record in budgeting and facility operations.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a staff of supervisors to ensure timely production and to meet safety, service levels, cost, and quality requirements.
• Develop and implement methods to improve productivity within budgets.
• Plan and execute strategies that support production objectives through cross-functional teamwork.
• Promote employee development through effective communication and cross-training.
• Monitor production, anticipate problems, and identify opportunities for improvement.
