Job summary

Winter Services Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager (Land and Snow) to oversee daily field operations and lead landscape enhancement and maintenance projects in Cedar Rapids, IA.

The role also supports winter snow removal operations, ensuring safety, timely execution, and client satisfaction across the seasons. The successful candidate will have 7–10+ years of relevant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage diverse crews and complex schedules.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, construction, or snow operations.
• Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation, enhancement installation, and snow removal practices.
• Supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret site plans, snow maps, work orders, and client specifications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily field operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Manage landscape enhancement projects including installations and upgrades.
• Coordinate maintenance crews, equipment, and staffing to meet timelines.
• Assist snow removal operations during winter, including planning and execution.
• Maintain records of job progress, labor hours, and materials used.
