Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is offering a ten-week Area Manager Intern internship in 2027, located in one of Amazon’s operations facilities across the United States. The role focuses on learning to coach and mentor a team of hourly associates, driving standard work, and leading an internship project with site leadership support.

Participants will gain hands-on leadership experience in fast-paced fulfillment centers, with extensive training provided to prepare for a future role in operations

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Currently enrolled in Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages, operate PIT equipment where applicable.
