Job summary

Walmart in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Logistics Area Manager to drive the business plan, forecast staffing, supervise leaders and associates, and ensure safety and quality in operations. You will recruit, coach and promote talent while applying Walmart's EDLP/EDLC principles to daily planning.

The role offers a competitive salary range ($84,000–$126,000) plus performance bonuses and a full benefits package including health, vision, dental, 401(k), stock, PTO, parental leave and Live Better U

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in business or related field; and 1 year experience in operations/distribution/logistics, supervising, mentoring, and development of managers/supervisors; or 1 year as Walmart Logistics Area Manager; or 3 years in related supervisory roles.
Experience supervising workload, hiring and promoting employees across multiple departments.
Associates must complete required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

Drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (production, quality, safety).
Forecast staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands.
Prepare and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements.
Supervise and manage associates and leaders, providing direction and feedback and identifying development needs.
Recruit, promote, coach, train, and evaluate associates and leaders.
