Job summary

LKQ Corp. in Sanford, NC is seeking an on-site Operations Manager to oversee location performance across quality, customer satisfaction, HR, inventory, safety, and gross margin.

You will collaborate with warehouse, distribution and staff to drive cost-effective operations and strong lean processes. The role requires leadership of multiple departments within budget, adherence to safety standards, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a senior lead or supervisor role.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency with basic computer software and data analysis.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel 30-35%.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a culture that delivers excellent customer service.
• Coach staff to achieve their best potential.
• Oversee KPIs for growth, productivity and inventory control.
• Review plans and objectives for the department.
• Manage departments within budget using Lean Daily Management.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures.
• Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
