Job summary

PrimaryMD is a tech-enabled concierge primary care practice operating in New York City and San Francisco. We’re growing fast and hiring a Director of Operations to run the day-to-day of the entire practice, reporting to the Founder & CEO.

You’ll own the member experience, operations backbone, HR, vendors, and onboarding; document workflows into a scalable playbook, and drive cross-market efficiency to support future openings.

Qualifications

• Healthcare operations experience is required.
• Experience managing people with accountability.
• Multi-site/high-growth operations experience preferred.
• Background in premium service environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations in NY and SF, including staffing, scheduling, tooling, and escalations.
• Create and document a repeatable playbook to scale the business efficiently.
• Own member experience, onboarding, and high-touch service standards across markets.
• Partner with clinical leadership to align workflows and handoffs.
• Manage offices and back-office functions, vendor relations, HR, compliance, and onboarding.
