Job summary

Schilit Hillel at University of Florida is seeking a Director of Operations to ensure operational excellence and an outstanding experience for students, staff, and stakeholders. You will lead financial processes, HR functions, building management, donor relations, and executive support.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with CRMs, QuickBooks, and Excel. A strong candidate will partner across teams in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience; Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proficiency with CRMs, QuickBooks, Excel, or similar software programs.
• Proven track record of leading operations, managing budgets, supervising staff, and implementing systems in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all organizational purchasing to maximize budget and ensure good stewardship of resources.
• Lead staff for holiday and major event logistics, including Shabbat, High Holidays, Passover, and Gator Tailgates.
• Oversee technology systems, vendor management, leasing, purchasing, and maintenance.
