Central Florida Hillel is seeking an Engagement Associate to help grow Jewish student life on campus. You will work with staff and student leaders to plan Shabbat and holiday programs, social events, and learning activities that connect students to Jewish life, learning, and Israel.

With 0–2 years in Jewish leadership or related programs, you will identify student leaders, facilitate program planning meetings, staff events, and manage day-to-day operations of Hillel space while modeling

Qualifikationen

• 0-2 years student leadership or professional experience in Jewish leadership programs.
• Creating structures and opportunities that assist and empower students to take initiative and ownership for their communities.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach others to achieve outcomes.

Aufgaben

• Work with colleagues and student leaders to implement a wide range of programs, including Shabbat and holiday celebrations, social opportunities, social justice projects, Jewish learning, career readiness programming, and meaningful Jewish experiences.
• Advance student programming by identifying potential student leaders.
• Utilize data to ensure a strategic approach to building Jewish life and community on campus.
• Serve as a Jewish resource to students and groups on campus.
• Assist in the management of day-to-day operations of Hillel space.
• Have coffee with students to further their engagement.
• Facilitate a program planning meeting with a group of students for an upcoming event.
• Staff Shabbat or holiday programming, assisting with discussions, rituals, and celebrations.
• Ensure the Hillel space is prepared and set up for upcoming programs and events.
