Job summary

Tarheel Linen is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee a standalone business unit. You will manage plant and staff, coordinate training, and ensure adherence to corporate guidelines across sales, customer service and back office.

The role demands hands-on leadership, the ability to motivate by example, and clear communication with all management levels. A four‑year degree or equivalent experience, valid driver's license, and energy are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license with clean driving record.
• Previous management/supervisory experience.
• High energy level.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.
• Pass a drug screen when required.
• Formal education preferred; Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Management of Plant & Staff Positions
• Training and mentoring of Management and Supervisory personnel
• Coordinate and ensure corporate training and procedures are followed for all associates
• Manage Warehouse, Office Administration, Route Distribution and Outside Sales Departments
• Responsible for all Company assets including building, equipment, fleet, inventory, accounts receivable, monitoring and collection
• Customer Service
• Sales and Marketing
• Community Representation
