Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations in a busy screen printing and apparel decoration business. You will lead production, drive sales and marketing initiatives, and mentor staff across two facilities in a fast-paced, creative environment.

The ideal candidate will balance operational, sales, and people management responsibilities with hands-on leadership skills and strong vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Set and track sales goals, driving revenue growth.
• Manage marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility and attract new customers.
• Oversee production across departments (screen printing, embroidery, heat press, artwork, and sales) across two facilities.
• Coordinate between sales and art departments for timely delivery of projects.
• Determine lead times and scheduling based on workload and resources.
• Order supplies, maintain inventory, and negotiate with vendors to reduce costs.
• Balance workloads across office and production teams for efficiency.
• Supervise staff performance, train and mentor new employees.
• Implement quality control procedures to minimize errors and rework.
• Address and resolve customer concerns professionally, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Identify bottlenecks and streamline processes to optimize workflow.
• Support the company's first outside sales representative.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented culture across departments.
• Contribute to growth in both sales and production capacity.
