Job summary

Qualifications

• College or vocational degree in hotel/restaurant management, sales, or marketing.
• Minimum five years in a leadership role in a 4- or 5-star restaurant, with at least three years in progressive management.
• Accounting, budgeting, and financial statement knowledge.
• Proven leadership and effective communication with guests, suppliers, and staff.
• Knowledge of state/federal labor, liquor, and restaurant laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist Restaurant Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations, staffing, scheduling, and inventory.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, beverages, and service standards.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly financial reviews.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and supervise floor during service.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage supplier relationships.
• Address guest complaints and ensure satisfaction.
