Wonderschool is seeking an Operations Manager, New Initiatives to oversee Tri-Share and SubPool programs, ensuring scalable processes and strong experiences for employers, providers, substitutes, employees, families, and partners.

The role identifies operational friction, improves workflows, and collaborates with Product and Engineering to make platforms easier to use while maintaining human judgment and empathy in child care settings.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years in operations, program management, implementation, or similar role.
• Strong process-improvement and systems-thinking skills.
• Comfort collaborating with Product and Engineering to translate needs into requirements.
• Curiosity and confidence using AI tools to improve workflows.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Tri-Share operations with clear, reliable enrollment, eligibility, communications, payments, customer support and reporting.
• Manage SubPool operations, set priorities, review performance and trends, support escalated issues.
• Improve operating systems by creating workflows, documentation, reporting, escalation paths and performance measures.
• Identify friction for customers and internal teams; lead practical improvements for speed and reliability.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to identify needs, prioritize enhancements, test workflows, ensure real-world applicability.
• Use data and feedback to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Explore automation with AI and other tools while preserving human review where trust or judgment is needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support launches, process changes and growth into new markets.
