Job summary

JAS Forwarding USA, Inc. in Seattle seeks an Operations Manager to oversee imports/exports via air/ocean, warehousing, and customs brokerage, driving branch operational excellence and alignment with KPIs.

You will collaborate with operations, sales, warehousing and support teams, manage staff performance, develop PowerBI dashboards, and guide training while ensuring compliance with company processes and regulatory standards. Salary range disclosed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Freight Forwarding operations experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Proficiency in CargoWise (C1) preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee imports/exports via air/ocean and warehousing operations.
• Ensure branch operations comply with JAS processes and governmental standards.
• Meet and manage KPIs using dashboards and reporting tools.
• Lead and coach branch staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain relationships with customers and carriers and support sales teams.
