Job Summary

The Operations Lead (OL) oversees store processes and supports an active selling culture by ensuring that all aspects are maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The OL provides expertise in all operational processes including opening, closing, training, and delegation of tasks while demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• The Operations Lead performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution, operational readiness, troubleshooting, team management, conditioning, and housekeeping, while ensuring building, assets, and team member security.
• The OL coordinates with the Operations Manager to optimize staffing for traffic, sales, and customer experience, including compliance with policies, meeting labor standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics.
• The OL manages daily/weekly zone workload planning and task assignment to achieve store, department, sales goals, and guest engagement.
• The OL supports the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention, expense control, and customer experience to ensure effective and profitable store operations.
• The OL drives productivity through training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and performance appraisal.
• The OL communicates and trains team members via daily interactions and team huddles to enhance the customer experience.
• The OL manages freight processes, including receiving, stocking, down stocking, and end cap maintenance, maintaining a neat and organized store.
• Other duties are assigned based on business needs.
• Open availability required, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications & Competencies

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, or team lift 100 lbs.
