Job Title: Operations Control Specialist | FT | DAY

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Manager of the Central Business Office (CBO) and the general supervision of the Director of the CBO, the role involves daily balancing of cash posting and the nightly patient accounting cycle. Responsibilities include correcting errors identified by billing and compliance software, monitoring charges from all systems for accuracy, rebilling insurance claims, updating patient insurance information, and analyzing departmental processes for system improvements. The role requires professionalism in dealing with internal customers and investigating potential HIPAA violations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration, or four years of related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle, accounting, finance, claims, or similar.
