Job Summary

The Operations Lead (OL) oversees store processes and supports an active selling culture by ensuring that all aspects are maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The OL provides expertise in all operation processes including opening, closing, training, and delegation of tasks while always demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  1. The Operations Lead performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution, operational readiness, troubleshooting, team management, conditioning, and housekeeping, while ensuring building, assets, and team member security.
  2. The OL coordinates directly with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and the customer experience, including compliance with Company timekeeping policies, meeting labor model standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics.
  3. The OL participates in Task Management by planning/executing the daily/weekly zone workload and assigning tasks to deliver on store, department, sales goals, guest engagement, etc., and ensures all tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
  4. The Operations Lead supports the store team in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience so the store will operate effectively and profitably.
  5. The OL Drives productivity by training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
  6. The Operations Lead leverages daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and teach/train topics that support the customer experience.
  7. The operations Lead participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions. The OL processes freight, stocks, including down stocking and end cap maintenance, while maintaining a neat, clean, organized store.
  8. All other duties are based on business needs.
  9. Open Availability (nights and weekends)
Qualifications & Competencies
  1. At least 18 years old.
  2. High School Diploma/Equivalent.
  3. Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
  4. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  5. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs.
  6. The ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
  7. Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
  8. Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for the team member, the customer, and the company in all situations.
  9. Creates a sense of urgency; promotes teamwork, delegates appropriately; motivates self and team to accomplish objectives. Timely and thorough execution.
  10. Ability to comprehend, train, develop, motivate, and lead in a manner of fosters a work environment that is smart & scrappy, safe, and fun.
  11. Flexible and creative with an ability to handle multiple tasks where priorities shift with the demands of the business.
