Job summary

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC is seeking a capable team lead for the Meadowside facility. You will coach Members, manage Cook in Bag operations, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and production.

The role requires at least 3 years of leadership experience in a food-manufacturing environment, strong teamwork, and proficiency with SAP, Excel, and Kronos. Shift is 2:30pm–12:30am, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledgeable in safety, HACCP, GMP and USDA.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach Members to deliver continuous improvement in safety, food safety/quality, costs, service and development.
• Learn and coach Members on Cook in Bag operations; manage process rotation and staffing.
• Create an environment that encourages involvement and idea implementation.
• Keep Coaches/Members informed of safety, quality, cost and performance issues.
• Maintain a safe, team-oriented atmosphere promoting continuous improvement.
• Participate in daily Tailgate meetings and on-campus projects.
• Crew and schedule Members; verify timecards for accuracy.
• Oversee full Cook in Bag line including stuffing, ovens, and packaging.
• Lead other areas on campus when needed.
