Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Operations Lead to supervise day-to-day data center and IT infrastructure activities in a highly technical environment, with emphasis on execution, training, and service quality. You will partner with internal teams, customers, and technical stakeholders to manage onboarding and go-live from kickoff through completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data center ops, proven project leadership, and experience using AI tools to automate data workflows, plus strong Excel/SQL

Qualifications

• Support customers in daily platform use with training and troubleshooting
• Document defects and enhancement requests between users and developers

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Operations Lead to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will oversee day-to-day operations for a team supporting data center and IT infrastructure activities, with a strong focus on execution, training, and service quality. The Operations Lead will partner with internal teams, customers, and technical stakeholders to manage onboarding, validate site data, and ensure smooth implementation from kickoff through go-live. This position also blends operational leadership with data accuracy, process improvement, and customer support in a highly technical environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations team, set priorities, and conduct performance reviews
• Maintain and document operating standards, ensuring consistent training for new hires
• Lead onboarding for new customers and sites, managing implementation projects from kickoff through go-live
• Build and validate site records based on construction documents and physical inspections
• Use AI and automation to create structured data workflows and audit existing site data
• Support customers in daily platform use, providing training and troubleshooting assistance
• Act as a liaison between users and development teams, documenting defects and enhancement requests

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center operations or IT infrastructure, with 2+ years in a management role
• Proven experience leading end-to-end projects with internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and the ability to interpret construction documents
• Daily use of AI tools for data extraction and validation, with experience building automations
• Strong data skills, including advanced Excel, Power Query, SQL, and structured formats such as CSV and JSON
• Effective communication skills, including leading customer sessions and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Proactive problem solver who seeks help with specific questions
