Job summary

Maryland Department of Health in Baltimore seeks an experienced Operations Project Manager to oversee LTSSMaryland program initiatives and Medicaid IT ecosystem enhancements. You will drive multi-team coordination, manage project plans, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with program goals.

The role requires leadership across executive stakeholders, risk management, and collaboration with vendors and State staff to improve operational efficiency and system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related discipline.
• Master’s degree or project management certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate LTSSMaryland operational, infrastructure, and system enhancement projects through all phases of delivery.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, staffing assignments, deliverables, and timelines.
• Monitor progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Supervise technical staff, contractors, and project teams to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Lead project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions to communicate priorities and decisions.
