Job summary

Heartland Co-op is seeking a dependable facility worker to receive, store, and load commodities such as grain, fertilizer, and seed at our Heartland Co-op facilities. You will help with inventory, operate loading equipment, and assist with scale operations and routine maintenance.

The role requires physical endurance, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and a solid commitment to safety procedures. You may work outdoors and in loud environments, with regular logging of activities and adherence

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in grain handling or agriculture environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Basic reading and writing of records and logs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store commodities and products in the facility.
• Load customer and Heartland Co-op trucks with products using loaders or forklifts.
• Assist with scale operation and inventory accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping in elevators, mills, warehouses, and shops.
