Job summary

Heartland Co-op in Wisconsin seeks a warehouse operator to receive, store, load and unload commodities such as grain, fertilizer, chemicals, seed and petroleum products. You will prepare trailers, load trucks, inspect tarps, monitor temperatures and maintain accurate logs.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, frequent movement, and adherence to safety rules. Training on equipment, inventory and logbooks is provided; a valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and write simple notes.
• Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store commodities into the facility.
• Load trucks/trailers and prepare trailers for loading.
• Assist with scale operation and inventory accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping in facilities.
• Maintain detailed logs and comply with safety procedures.
