Job summary

Candy Land at Event Network, LLC is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee daily store operations and act as the primary Leader on Duty, partnering with the Store Director to ensure seamless execution and a memorable guest experience.

You will lead scheduling, inventory, safety, and staff development while fostering a positive team culture and delivering the Candy Land brand promise during high-traffic periods and special events.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, entertainment, or guest-focused environments.
• Experience leading daily operations in a high-volume retail environment.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members.
• Experience with scheduling, payroll, inventory, and operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the store as the primary Leader on Duty.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and operational readiness.
• Manage scheduling, labor deployment, and daily workload planning.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through replenishment, cycle counts, and controls.
• Ensure visual standards, cleanliness, and safety expectations are met.
• Coach and develop Candy Guides and Lead Candy Guides with real-time feedback.
