Operations Grants Writer and Researcher

Salary Range: $67,000–$71,000, commensurate with experience

PBS Hawai‘i is seeking a clear and disciplined writer to support institutional, capacity‑building, and multi‑year grants that strengthen our long‑term sustainability. The ideal candidate enjoys research, organization, and follow‑through, and can manage multiple deadlines while keeping track of details. This role also uses emerging tools, including AI‑assisted research and writing platforms, to improve efficiency in prospecting, draft development, and reporting.

The Operations Grants Writer & Researcher works closely with leadership to prepare proposals, maintain calendars and reporting schedules, track budgets and deliverables, and support relationships with foundations and agencies. The position requires strong writing, steady organization, and consistent follow‑through to support PBS Hawai‘i`s core operations.

This position requires in‑person attendance during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
