Job summary

OMD is seeking a Manager of Business Operations in Chicago to drive cross-functional budgeting, reporting, and process governance across Planning, Investment, Finance and Operations. You will coordinate end-to-end media workflows, optimize budgeting accuracy, and ensure timely invoicing for client campaigns.

The role requires 3+ years in media/finance at a large agency, strong Excel and project management skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in media/finance at a large media agency
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Marketing or equivalent
• Familiarity with digital, broadcast and print media
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large spreadsheets
• Excellent problem solving and cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance and best practices across platforms and training compliance
• Lead integration between cross-functional teams (Planning, Investment, Finance, Operations)
• Ensure timely invoicing for fees and media; manage billing timelines
• Maintain planning and tracking tools for campaign data and proofs of performance
• Oversee billing and budget tracking; manage MediaOcean and Planit systems
• Prepare monthly finance meetings and communicate financial guidelines
