Job summary

South Carolina Office of the Attorney General is seeking an Operations Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee the agency's facilities, operational services, state fleet management, and related agency services.

The role serves as a central coordinator among internal departments, the Department of Administration, State Fleet Management, contractors, and external partners to meet operational needs efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least ten years of progressively responsible experience in program, operations, or project management, including managerial and supervisory experience.
• Experience in managerial and supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of government procurement and fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and oversees the agency's facilities, operational services, state fleet management and related agency services.
• Coordinates renovation, relocation and facility improvement projects from planning through completion, with budget and timeline oversight.
• Oversees day-to-day operational needs of the AG's Office and provides managerial oversight of the Support Services Department.
• Coordinates with contractors, building management and vendors to ensure services meet requirements and agreements.
• Manages space planning, office moves, and asset accountability including keys and space utilization.
