Job summary

The Stow Company in Holland, MI, seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead manufacturing, fulfillment, engineering, maintenance, safety and quality for the Holland facility. This role steers ~220 team members, delivering safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity results in a disciplined, continuous-improvement culture.

Reporting to the COO, you will shape operating strategy, drive accountable performance, and build a strong operations organization focused on execution and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Significant progressive leadership experience in manufacturing and operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading a complex manufacturing and fulfillment organization.
• Experience leading Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong experience managing operational budgets, productivity, cost, quality, safety, and delivery performance.
• Experience in leading engineering and/or technical organizations is preferred.
• Experience with highly automated manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing and fulfillment operations at the Holland facility.
• Develop operating plans aligned with company goals and customer needs.
• Monitor metrics and drive corrective actions to meet targets.
• Ensure cost, quality, delivery, productivity, and service objectives.
• Lead Lean initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and others.
• Develop and manage the facility budget.
• Develop leadership and succession within operations.
