Job Summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an Operations Excellence Manager responsible for managing process improvement programs, enhancing skills, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. This role involves leading workshops, facilitating Kaizen activities, and implementing lean methodologies to improve operational efficiency.

Location

Hybrid, Plymouth, MN

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and lead continuous improvement training programs across sales, service, and solutions units.
2. Create strategies to reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance quality and delivery through lean practices.
3. Coordinate technical skills development and provide ongoing support.
4. Coach teams in Kaizen and Lean methodologies, collaborating to improve KPIs.
5. Facilitate Kaizen events using Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC, and RACI.
6. Lead planning activities, scorecard management, and enterprise portfolio initiatives.
7. Support operational excellence and continuous improvement efforts.
8. Establish communication processes for improvement initiatives and perform audits.
9. Maintain records of all improvement activities.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• Experience with Kaizen and continuous improvement processes.
• At least 2 years facilitation experience.
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Compensation

The annual base salary ranges from $90,000 to $130,000 plus a 10% bonus, depending on skills and experience.
