Lockheed Martin's Sikorsky unit is seeking an Operations Excellence Manager to oversee improvement and transformation initiatives across the organization, including Thinaer asset tracking, 1LMX integration, and digital transformation for the Avionics Product Center.

The role liaises between cross-functional teams and Operations leadership, ensuring project execution, budget oversight, and talent development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Proven experience managing Continuous Improvement, Operations Excellence, or process transformation initiatives in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing direct reports, including hiring, training, performance management, and employee development.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional project teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Digital Transformation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin’s 1LMX framework and enterprise digital tools.
• Proven success in driving cultural change to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a track record of delivering measurable results.

Responsabilités

• Lead companywide initiatives, including the Thinaer asset tracking project, 1LMX integration, and Digital Transformation (DX) for the Avionics Product Center.
• Serve as the liaison between cross-functional teams and Operations leadership, ensuring seamless collaboration and project execution.
• Oversee subordinate recruitment, selection, training, performance evaluation, assignments, salary administration, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Monitor the status of multiple projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
• Identify and resolve project issues to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Develop and implement tools to track progress (e.g., CIC, Kaizen smashup, QIP tracker) and intervene when necessary to maintain project momentum.
