Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Coordinator, Operational Excellence to join the Building & Construction team in our York, PA office. This role supports the assurance, testing, inspection, and certification services for Total Quality Assurance in the built environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years related experience, and strong MS Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint skills. Travel may be required and the team emphasizes accuracy, organization, and client relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Motivated self-starter who can work independently.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Screen calls and answer inquiries about department services.
• Welcome visitors and direct to the right person/department.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, reports, and correspondence.
• Manage calendars and coordinate travel arrangements.
• Perform clerical tasks: copying, scanning, filing.
• Maintain department records and project files, schedules, logs, databases.
• Assist with project administration: setup, scheduling, notifications, POs, invoicing, finalizing reports.
• Assist with internal and external quality audits.
• Assist with periodic management reports.
• Perform other work as required by the business.
