Job summary

Intertek in York, PA seeks a Building & Construction Project Coordinator to support client outreach, proposals and project coordination within our Building & Construction team. Travel up to 5 days per month is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 40–45 hours per week.

You will develop tailored scopes of work, nurture client relationships and pursue new opportunities while coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Commercial Construction experience.
• Ability to learn building envelope components and installation methods.
• Independently manage assigned projects with strong planning and organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and co-workers.
• Proven ability to build rapport with designers, contractors and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Outlook; travel 25%+ as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality proposals and tailored scopes of work.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Engage with local industry associations to expand Intertek presence.
• Oversee project coordination including planning, scheduling and execution.
