Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Operations Engineer to lead cross‑functional projects focused on facility network infrastructure, new builds, retrofits and program initiatives in North America. You will manage schedules, coordinate with vendors, and ensure on‑time hand‑offs while traveling up to 75% domestically.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, delivering complex material handling system designs with attention to safety, throughput, and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM field is required.
• 3+ years as an industrial/operations/manufacturing/project engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) and automated material handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage lifecycle of challenging cross-functional projects across geographies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to set milestones and drive schedules.
• Manage installation, qualifications, and workflow optimization for material handling systems.
• Communicate project status, risk analysis and mitigation plans to leadership.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive continuous improvements.
