Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Engineer to lead cross-functional projects within our North America operations network. You will manage the lifecycle of complex material handling systems, partner with internal teams and external vendors, and ensure on-time delivery of project objectives while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will travel up to 75% nationally and may relocate to a corporate office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 3+ years in industrial/ops/ manufacturing/ project engineering.
• Experience with material handling equipment and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle of cross-functional projects in material handling and facility networks.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams and vendors to manage milestones and schedules.
• Deliver system designs, layouts, specifications and functional capabilities to stakeholders.
• Manage change orders, POs and invoice validation/approvals.
• Travel up to 75% nationwide; relocate if necessary.
