Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for the NA SSD Network to own strategic and tactical projects across material handling and technology systems. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, develop new processes or modify existing ones, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while traveling 50-70% to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years managing multiple large projects.
• 5+ years in material handling equipment or automation environments.
• Strong background in automated material handling equipment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Design new processes or modify existing ones focusing on equipment, workflows, and material flow.
• Ensure safety and quality; develop testing methods and investigate issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency gains.
• Monitor process performance and analyze data for improvements.
• Explore and implement new technologies to improve process efficiency.
