Job Title: Network Technician

Job Location: Remote

Job Duration: 5 months

Job Description:

1. Ethernet and Access Device Provisioning
2. This position involves supporting the migration of customer data connections from PPPOE to DHCP in both access and Ethernet devices, circuits, and services.
3. The role is critical to the business operations, ensuring order requests are completed promptly.
4. The engineer must understand the technology and be capable of executing complex data network configurations across a multi-vendor network for Layer 2 & 3 protocols that serve our customers daily.

Qualifications:

1. Experience configuring Nokia 7750 and Ciena router/switching equipment.
2. Knowledge of Ethernet router/switching platforms, including applications, configurations, and technologies.
3. Familiarity with Element Management Systems (EMS), Operational Support Systems (OSS), network inventory, alarming, and provisioning systems.
4. Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with personnel at all levels.
5. Ability to communicate across various business levels, including suppliers, executives, and industry entities.
6. Proficiency in oral, written, and presentation skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
